PERIODICALS COLLECTION GUIDE
The Library has over 350 subscriptions to the print versions of periodicals, scholarly journals and newspapers distributed over the 8 campuses and learning centres. Work is in progress to provide lists of the titles held at each campus. A title may also be located by searching in WebCat, the library's online catalogue.
In addition, the library subscribes to online services that provide access to over 3000 journals and newspapers with the full text online. Many hundreds more are indexed online and College learners have access to periodicals at all B.C Colleges and Universities.
REFERENCE COLLECTIONS GUIDE
Reference works include dictionaries, encyclopedias, directories, atlases, biographies, bibliographies, college/university calendars, telephone books and other types of material.
There are over 1350 reference works in the campus libraries, usually set aside in special sections. These are identified in WebCat, the online library catalogue, by their location: REFERENCE and by their call number prefix REF. Reference works are for in-library use only and may not leave the premises.
RESERVES COLLECTION GUIDE
Faculty on some campuses may place reading materials for specific courses on reserve . This may include books or videos from the library or from their personal collections and photocopies of articles.

The list tells you what special short loan period has been assigned to each item.
Fines for overdue Reserve materials are $1.00 per day past the due date.
