Practicum 4 consists of 200 hours of guided, supervised experience in a licensed early learning, inclusive program. Emphasis is on developing skills and knowledge necessary to provide quality care and learning opportunities for children and families. It includes both theory and developmentally appropriate practice, including programming and guiding and caring for children.

Learning Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course students will demonstrate the following knowledge, skills, abilities and, attitudes as they apply to working with children with diverse abilities:
- Describe the emerging collaboration and common foundation between early childhood education and early childhood special education
- Demonstrate competency in observing, planning, implementing, and evaluating developmentally appropriate experiences for children who require extra support
- Identify and respond respectfully to diversity within the environment
- Demonstrate practice that adheres to the ECEBC Code of Ethics
- Evaluate personal and professional growth, according to the established competencies
- Set measurable goals for further professional growth
