Chetwynd campus supports full and part-time students in programs such as Career and College Preparation, University Arts and Sciences, Trades and Apprenticeship, and Workforce Training/Continuing Education.
This campus is also home to our People Obtaining Workplace Employment Requirements (POWER) program which prepares students for entry into trades training and employment.

Get to know Chetwynd
The District of Chetwynd is located in the beautiful foothills of the Rocky Mountains. It is approximately one hour west of Dawson Creek, and three hours north of Prince George. Chetwynd has a population of 3,100 and serves an area of about 7,000 residents.
Chetwynd is a charming town with shops, restaurants, golfing, and a skate park and leisure pool. The region is known for being an outdoor playground for hiking and fishing enthusiasts with many lakes, rivers and streams.

Fact
The town of Chetwynd is home to many impressive chainsaw-carved wooden sculptures of local and mythological animals. In fact, Chetwynd hosts the International Chainsaw Carving Championship each year in June.
