Chetwynd Campus students earn awards and bursaries

CHETWYND – The Chetwynd Campus of Northern Lights College held its annual awards presentation and tea on June 8.

The event recognized the accomplishments of a number of students attending the Chetwynd Campus, and was attended by approximately 30 people, including students and staff, and family members.

Several of the awards are memorial awards, while other awards are sponsored by community groups, businesses, and individuals. The awards are administered by the NLC Foundation.

Students who received awards were:

  • Carrie Mosher: Dominion Energy Canada Ltd. (Aboriginal) Award; Northern Institute Resources Studies Award; Attendance Award; Academic Achievement Award
  • Sandra Grant: NLC Student Association and Council Award; Attendance Award; Service/Student Council Award
  • Louise Knox: Alma Van Dusen Vancouver Foundation Award; Attendance Award; Academic Achievement Award
