Delegates from the Linyi Advanced School of Finance and Economics in Shandong Province in China visited our Fort St. John campus last week. The group met with college officials and toured the facilities.
Their visit followed a memorandum of understanding to cooperate on programs for students and faculty. It is the first partnership between NLC and a Chinese institution of higher learning. In 2020, the college will accept a cohort of Chinese students into the general diploma and accounting diploma business management streams.
Donna Merry, Director of International Education, explains the benefit to both exchange and domestic students: “Linyi high school graduates will be exceptional candidates for our business management program and will enrich our classrooms with their knowledge and perspectives.”
“We look forward to opportunities for faculty and student exchanges to further enhance the learning opportunities for our domestic students.”
