Dokken receives Governor General’s Bronze Medal

DAWSON CREEK – Angela Dokken, a graduate of the Criminology Diploma program at the Dawson Creek Campus of Northern Lights College, is the 2014 recipient of the Governor General’s Collegiate Bronze Medal.

The Governor General’s Bronze Medal is awarded for academic excellence to the NLC student who achieves the highest overall average upon graduation from a diploma-level, post-secondary program (minimum two-year, full-time duration).

Dokken achieved an overall Grade Point Average of 4.164.

The award is provided by His Excellency, the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada.

The medal was presented by NLC Registrar Dr. Loren Lovegreen at Dawson Creek Convocation ceremonies held on June 6.
