Fort St. John students collect more than $41,000 in awards

FORT ST. JOHN – More than $41,000 in awards, scholarships and bursaries were presented to Northern Lights College students on April 1. 

The awards were presented to students enrolled at NLC’s Fort St. John Campus during the annual awards ceremony held in the cafeteria. More than 65 students received awards for 2013-14.

Many of the awards are memorial awards, while other awards are sponsored by community groups, businesses, and individuals. The awards are administered by the NLC Foundation.

Fort St. John City Councillor Larry Evans was in attendance, bringing greetings from the City to the students and their family members, as well as the donors who make the awards possible.
