Northern Lights College (NLC) supports BC residents in furthering their education through funded future skills grant courses.
The Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills has announced this year’s round of funding for the future skills grant, which provides every BC resident with up to $3,500 for short-term skills training. NLC Continuing Education developed 15 new programs that meet the funding criteria and allows workers to get the education they need to upgrade their skill set.
“Our future skills grant funding allows us to offer exciting new programs for anyone looking to expand their skills in their current field or in a new one. NLC is committed to helping people who are interested in expanding their knowledge, and this grant, coupled with our new programs, allows us a new pathway to support our community,” said Chante Patterson-Elden, Dean of Continuing Education at NLC. “The funding removes barriers for people to access training opportunities and opens doors for upgrading their skills.”
