The students gathered in the Aboriginal Gathering Space on the Fort St. John Campus to receive their awards from Aboriginal services advisor David Christie.
The entrance awards included the Shell Canada Entrance Award (six at $2,000), the NLC Foundation Entrance Award (three at $1,000), the Minerva Foundation for BC Women Award (valued at $1,250) and the NLC Foundation Award of Excellence (valued at $3000).
Entrance Awards are available throughout the year to students entering a program for the first time.
