NLC students receive Minerva Foundation awards

Tracey DumaisDAWSON CREEK – Northern Lights College recently named the recipients for the 2010 Minerva Foundation for BC Women Award (Aboriginal) awards.

They were Tracey Dumais, Dawson Creek Campus (Applied Business Technology), who received her award from Financial Aid Officer Billie-Jo Crandall; and Germaine Hardy, Fort Nelson Campus (Career and College Preparation), who received her award from Financial Aid Officer Dustin Anderson.

Sponsored by the Minerva Foundation for BC Women, two awards of $1,250 are given each year to assist Aboriginal female students in reaching their educational goals.
