Recently, we were pleased to welcome Roshan Jayatilaka and Geraldine Jayatilaka, directors and owners of Peace Valley Education, to Northern Lights College. Peace Valley Education is our most trusted partner agent in Sri Lanka, responsible for guiding many Sri Lankan students to our institution.
Not only do they guide students to attend NLC, they also entrusted both of their sons and a nephew to us and all three are now NLC alumni. One of their sons, Jonathan, even went on to work for us in our IT department, strengthening the ties between our organizations.
Peace Valley Education stands out because they are committed to genuinely caring for their students. They know each of their students by name, and focus on supporting each student through every step of their educational journey, a process that speaks to our student journey pillar of the 2023-2028 Strategic Plan. Our own Vinuk Kumaratunge, Student Engagement Facilitator in Fort St. John, was a Peace Valley student.
