DAWSON CREEK – Three students at the Dawson Creek Campus of Northern Lights College were recent recipients of entrance awards from the Northern Lights College Foundation.

Leah Black, an Applied Business Technology student, was presented with the NLC Foundation Award of Excellence, valued at $3,000.

Candidates for the Award of Excellence submitted an essay outlining their community involvement and a community project they would like to be involved in, leadership roles in school or the community, extra-curricular activities, future plans, and how attending NLC will help those plans.
