During the current Canada Post labour situation, Northern Lights College has adopted the following interim procedures with regard to the acceptance and/or processing of Transcripts:

    1. by pre-arranged pickup by the student.
    2. by email to the designated institution from NLC.
    3. by FAX to the designated institution from NLC. A fee of $5 (plus HST) will be levied for FAX service, in addition to the usual $10 fee (plus HST) for transcript processing.
    4. by courier to the designated institution from NLC. A fee of $10 (plus HST) will be levied for courier service, in addition to the usual $10 fee (plus HST) for transcript processing.

NOTE: In all of these cases, students should confirm with the receiving institution that transcripts are acceptable in this format.

  2. Students or applicants who are ordering a transcript from another institution to be sent to NLC should request the transcript be mailed directly to the appropriate department or staff member (for example, Student Recruitment or Human Development, Education and Care) handling their file.
    1. For the duration of the Canada Post labour situation only, Northern Lights College temporarily will accept a copy of a transcript from an official fax number or email address at the institution providing the transcript, provided that the official transcript is also mailed.
    2. NLC does NOT accept any transcripts that have not been sent directly from the Registrar’s office at the institution.”
