Wood carving donated to Aboriginal Gathering Space

DAWSON CREEK – The Aboriginal Gathering Space at the Dawson Creek Campus of Northern Lights College received a unique wood carving thanks to a generous donation from long-time resident Marcheta Leoppky (right). The carving was created by renowned British Columbia artist Elmer Gunderson, and purchased by Leoppky. The carving was presented to NLC President Laurie Rancourt and Aboriginal Coordinator Theresa Gladue on Jan. 6.
