Physics 040 introduces physical laws governing motion, forces, waves, energy and electricity. This course uses geometry, algebra, graphs, and vectors to describe physical phenomena. It also emphasizes conceptual understanding rather than numerical computation. In addition, the course’s laboratory experiments illustrate physical laws and develop measurement and data analysis skills. This course is equivalent to Physics 11.
