This course examines the basic principles of medical microbiology and the classification of microbes, emphasizing their relevance to human health. Topics include the morphology, growth, and transmission of microorganisms; key aspects of microbial genetics; the epidemiology and role of pathogens in infectious diseases; human immunology; antimicrobial strategies; and the prevention and control of communicable diseases in humans.
