This course will analyze diversity and how respect, understanding, and encouragement can affect the educational process. It will deepen the student’s awareness and understanding of people, their values and cultures, with an emphasis on Indigenous, First Nations, and Metis cultures.

Restrictions: Must be in the Education Assistant Program (EDAS1, EDAS2, or EDAS...X60)

Other Prerequisites: Criminal Record Check Schedule B works with "children" or works with "children and vulnerable adults." Admission to the Education Assistant Certificate or Diploma Program.
