This course familiarizes students with all aspects of computer networking technologies and network operating systems. The emphasis is on practical applications of networking and computer technology to real-world problems. This course will prepare students for entry-level jobs as networking technicians and prepares them for learning more advanced topics in networking.
Prerequisites: Students in the Post-Degree Diploma in Information Technology Management or the Interactive and Digital Technologies Diploma or the Associate of Science in Computing and Information Science: None or ITEC 150 or permission of the Instructor or Chair.
