MILA150 Millwright Apprenticeship Level 1

This course offers harmonized level 1 curriculum as outlined by the ITA. Millwrights install, repair, overhaul and maintain machinery and heavy mechanical equipment, such as conveyor systems in diverse settings including repair shops, plants, construction sites, mines, logging operations, ski hills and most production and manufacturing facilities. Millwright is designated as Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) under the Inter-provincial Red Seal program. Millwrights also perform routine maintenance activities, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment, adjusting valves and seals, and investigating breakdowns.

Prerequisites: Eligibility as indicated by the Industry Training Authority

Restrictions: Must be in Millwright Apprenticeship Level 1 (MILA.1)
