OGOP 106 discusses origins of hydrocarbon bearing formations, exploration for hydrocarbons and the chemical composition of hydrocarbons. Procedures linked to artificial lift systems, pipeline pigging and crude oil production will be covered in detail. Students will also become familiar with wellheads, casing and completions, separators, heater-treaters, wastewater treatment, crude oil handling, and custody transfer.
Restrictions: Must be in the Oil & Gas Field Operator Program (OGFO1).
