This course builds on PNUR 114 – Pharmacology 1 to increase the learner’s understanding of pharmacotherapeutics prescribed for illnesses that clients experience across the lifespan. Topics include drug classifications and links with common diseases/illnesses based on a body system approach, and drug resistance.

Corequisites: PNUR 120, PNUR 121, PNUR 122, PNUR 123, PNUR 125

Restrictions: Must be in the Practical Nurse Diploma Program (PNUR2).

Other Prerequisites: Successful completion of Level 1 courses and Consolidated Practice Experience 1
