This third level practicum course provides students further opportunities to observe and work in community based early care and learning programs for children 30 months to school age. Emphasis is on: reflecting current research in best practice to enhance young children’s learning and development, achieving the ECE Occupational Competency skills, and professionalism. Students will be required to take a lead role in the centre’s day to day functions.
Restrictions: Must be in an ECE program (ECEC2)
Other Prerequisites: Criminal Record Check Schedule B works with "children" or works with "children and vulnerable adults." Admission to the Early Childhood Education and Care Diploma Program.
