This practicum course provides students with an opportunity to develop an advanced level of practice within the health care system by integrating newly acquired knowledge and skills. Students will be placed in at least two of the following settings: acute care, tertiary care, or community care. Under the direct supervision of a preceptor and faculty advisor, students will experience and respond to increasingly more complex situations.
Prerequisites: IMHA 310, IMHA 311, IMHA 312, IMHA 313, and IMHA 314
Restrictions: Must be in the Interprofessional Mental Health and Addictions Advanced Certificate Program (IMHA1).
