This course examines professional issues such as advocacy, ethics, current research, and growth trends. Students are introduced to the roles of the relevant provincial and federal professional organizations. Career options and continuing professionalism will also be examined.
Prerequisites: ECEC 100, ECED 101, ECED 109A, ECED 110, HDEC 100, HDEC 101, HDEC 102, HDEC 103, HDEC 104, and HDEC 121
Restrictions: Must be in an ECE program (ECEC2)
Other Prerequisites: Criminal Record Check Schedule B works with "children" or works with "children and vulnerable adults." Admission to the Early Childhood Education and Care Diploma Program.
