PNUR233 Variations in Health 3

This course focuses on the continuum of care and the development of knowledge related to health challenges managed in the community setting. Pathophysiology and nursing care of clients requiring home health care, rehabilitation, and supportive services in the community are explored. Cultural diversity in healing approaches will be explored as well as the incorporation of evidence informed research and practice.

Prerequisites: All of: APNP 130, APNP 131, APNP 132, APNP 133, APNP 134, APNP 135, APNP 136  Or all of: PNUR 110, PNUR 111, PNUR 112, PNUR 113, PNUR 114, PNUR 115, PNUR 116, PNUR 120, PNUR 121, PNUR 122, PNUR 123, PNUR 124, PNUR 125, PNUR 126 

Corequisites: PNUR 230, PNUR 231, PNUR 232, PNUR 235 

Restrictions: Must be in the Practical Nurse or Access to PN Diploma Program (APN2, PNUR2).
